Mrs Geist asked us to make a poster about our trip to England from 21st to 26th October 2001. And now we want to tell you about the trip. Here are some experiences from the first to the sixth day, so open your eyes and let's start.

After our 20-hour-long dreary but funny journey we thought we could rest. But it was not so. At first everybody unpacked his suitcase and then we got dinner. Our nice and lovely host family thought that they had to show us Bournemouth on the first evening there. What a marathon day!

But on the other days our timetable was also very full. Sightseeing here, shopping there! After a night full of deep sleep we got up and went to the Cavendish School of English for six hours to learn more English. Mr Martin is a teacher there and a beautiful second Elvis Presley. The lessons were funny and informative. After school we went shopping in Bournemouth. In the evening there was a Karaoke evening at school. Mrs Geist sang us into the 'Seventh Heaven'. So ended our second day in England.

After a short night we went to Stonehenge at 8 o'clock. It's not breathtaking but you must see it. At 3 o'clock we went to the little cinema in our school. Well, if you didn't see the film before, you understood only a little bit. The people talk too fast. Later we went to Tower Park. There you can go swimming or play bowling. After two hours we came home and hopped into our beds.

In the morning at 9 am we started our full-day trip to Portland, Weymouth and Lulworth Cove. After that we went to Tower park again and two hours later we went home to our host families.

And then came the day when we went to London. The highlight of the week. The long hours for shopping began and sightseeing, too. And our boys were in their elements and flirted with the London girls. Our guide Steven was nice, he showed us very important things!

On our last day we had to go to school again for four hours and then we went home by bus. 20 hours again!

England is beautiful and we'd like to go there again.
